Gateway FredAlarm
Centralize your facility's data and send it to the cloud via MQTT through an encrypted connection, using Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
What does it contribute?
It gathers measurements, statuses and alarms from LoRa and Modbus equipment and communicates them to the FredAlarm platform. It also integrates the PLC network through its independent gateway.
Where does it fit?
Hotels, restaurants, laboratories, warehouses and other facilities that combine radio monitoring points and wired networks.
Data reception
- LoRa: receives communications from FredAlarm devices using its own radio protocol.
- Modbus: integrates measurements, states and alarms from compatible devices.
PLC Integration
The equipment that communicates through the electrical installation is incorporated through the independent PLC gateway. This gateway links your network to the Gateway to gather installation information.
Connection with the cloud
- Publication of measurements, states and alarms through MQTT.
- Network connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet (ETH).
The Gateway acts as a link between the installation's equipment and the FredAlarm platform, from which logs are consulted and alarms are monitored.
An encrypted link to the cloud
Depending on the gateway, the MQTT link is secured using TLS or a VPN connection. The client consults the platform via HTTPS from the browser or application; You do not need to connect to the MQTT broker.
MQTT for integrators
The gateway can publish directly to the integrator's MQTT broker, in its own cloud, as an alternative to the FredAlarm platform. The destination is configured according to the project.
A connected architecture
The Gateway links the installation equipment with the FredAlarm server. Discover the journey from LoRa, Modbus or PLC equipment to your application.
